Weekend with Mona Lisa is a small project I did when I was researching about computer visions/computational photography for Autonomous Video Artist. I used the image quilting techniques discussed in this paper to deliver my own share of "vandalizing" of Mona Lisa. The whole idea of this project is to bring a sense of "Cyberpunk" to the painting by using textures like wires, circuits, boards and Matrix background to redraw the Mona Lisa. Below are some of my favorite results and the textures I used to generate them. You can access the source code in MatLab in here.
