A 20 minutes reatime VR ride made in Unreal. This is my last project at the Mill. The delivery schedule is interupted by the sudden shut down of the company and the project is still under NDA. Please feel free to reach out to me about the specifics. I led a global team in Banglore and in New York for the development of this project. I will break down some of my responsbility below.

Created C++ communication interface between the physical ride chair vendor’s API and our application so that our game instance can talk directly with the physical control and sync the master timecode across multiple seats.
Blueprint and C++ implementation of level streaming and sequence logics to ensure smooth transitions between levels while maintaining target framerate 90FPS.
Developed pipeline tools for technical artists to utilize the VAT better in Unreal Engine.
Optimize the application by profiling and pinpoint performance bottlenecks. It includes texture optimization, lighting optimization, shader optimization for hero assets and large environment assets like water and water fall and so on.
